The short arm of the law

CHILDREN at Woolston Community Primary School have been taking valuable career advice from a range of visitors.

The pupils in year one have been preparing questions for their visitors so they can learn about different roles in the community.

Last week PC Malcolm Roberts dropped into school to talk to the children about his job, bringing along with him a selection of police hats, which the pupils couldn't wait to try on for size. Other interviewees have included a nurse, teacher, secretary and the school caretaker.
