ROARTY TO CAPTAIN GIANTS

THE Giants have appointed 28 year old back row forward Ben Roarty as their captain for Super League X.

Roarty who joined the club two season's ago from Penrith Panthers is highly regarded by his fellow professionals.

Ben Roarty said 'It is a great honour to be appointed captain and I am really looking forward to the challenge of leading the Giants in Super League X'

Giants Head Coach Jon Sharp said 'Ben is an excellent professional who trains well and always gives 100% in every game I am sure he will be an outstanding Captain and lead the team by example'

Half back Chris Thorman, who returned to the Giants after spells at London Broncos and Parramatta will be vice captain.
