Your chance to raise any concerns over local policing

RESIDENTS wanting to raise issues about policing in Crewe and Nantwich are being invited to a forum meeting next Thursday.

Taking place at the Civic Hall in Nantwich, local people will be given the opportunity to discuss the police budget and feedback from a survey carried out by Cheshire Constabulary regarding what residents want from the local police service in 2005/06.

Forum chairman Peter Nurse said: "This meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss policing issues, how Cheshire Constabulary will be funded next year and to speak to the person in charge of policing in the area - Superintendent Graeme Sims.

"Anyone can attend these meetings and I would urge all those who have any concerns or an interest in policing to attend on the 3rd of February."
