Bingo cash pays for new sculptures

RELIGIOUS artefacts have been bought for a primary school after a bumper bingo fundraising effort.

St Paul of the Cross Church's afternoon bingo club donated £300 to St Paul of the Cross Primary School and head teacher, Andrew Cocker, is putting it towards new religious sculptures.

Mr Cocker said: "We are once more very grateful to the supporters of the parish's Monday afternoon bingo group.

"If you have some spare time on a Monday afternoon, why not go along to the Catholic Club between 2pm and 3pm to support this worthy cause?"
