New service

RESIDENTS are invited to a 'Service for New Horizons' at St Mary's Church, Nantwich, on Sunday, January 23.

The service, which begins at 8pm and is expected to last for an hour, will include music, prayer and teaching in an informal style, followed by coffee.

The night is to provide an alternative to the more formal services the church offers.

Two similar events before Christmas attracted around 70 people, and it is hoped that the service will be a regular fixture.
