Appealing for books

RESIDENTS are being urged to take their unwanted books and bric-a-brac items to the Oxfam shop on Pepper Street.

The Nantwich charity shop is appealing for more items that can be sold in aid of the tsunami disaster appeal fund.

The money raised by the charity so far has been used to provide essential hygiene packs, water, food and shelter.

As part of the appeal, however, shop manager Denise Barry said that they did not want unwanted clothing.
