New headteacher ready for a vibrant challenge at The Grange

A NEW headteacher has been appointed at the Grange School in Hartford.

Christopher Jeffery replaces Jenny Stephen, who has taken up the post of headteacher at South Hampstead High School in London.

He said: "I am very excited at the prospect of leading such a vibrant and successful school."

Mr Jeffery, formerly deputy head of the Perse School in Cambridge, is joined by an interim head of the junior school, Stephen Bennet, who arrives with experience of leading an international school in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia.
