Awards for bright Sparcs

REWARDING EXCELLENCE: Members of SPARC, Supporting People Achieve Real Choice, were rewarded for their hard work throughout the year at a special awards ceremony.

The charity works to help disabled people into employment and the awards recognised SPARC members and employers who excelled in 2004.

The charity's patron, Lord Hoyle, presented the awards.

Award winners were Shelley Read, aged 25, from Latchford, 25-year-old Maveen Prashar of Westbrook, 21-year-old Matthew Judson from Penketh, 33-year-old Gary Edmunds of Bruche, 20-year-old Leanne Vincent from Callands and Lisa Park, aged 26, from Orford.

Tesco won the Phil Callaghan award for the most supportive employer
