Duxbury excels again

VALE Royal karting ace James Duxbury has proven he can cut it on the adult circuit after just one race.

Duxbury, 15, from Hodge Lane, Hartford, recently made the step up to TKM Extreme after excelling in the junior series.

And after his first race he has the rest of the competition sweating.

Racing at Wigan's three sisters track he won his debut race in the series, beating his nearest rival by nine seconds.

Duxbury, who is a member of Manchester and Buxton Karting Club, now leads the senior winter series and the club championship after one round.

The win follows his double winning previous season when he claimed the Junior TKM Championship and the Gold Cup.
