Help poor pups find a new home for new year

ANIMAL lovers are being asked to help an abandoned dog start the new year in a new home.

Titch, aged seven, has been staying at the RSPCA centre in Slutchers Lane since last April.

A spokesman said: "He was brought in by an inspector and we don't know his full background.

"He is a friendly little thing, but would be better in a home with no toddlers."

Ben Bop, aged two, is also looking for a permanent home, after spending the past 10 months staying at Cheshire Dogs Home in Grappenhall .

He was brought into the centre when he was still a puppy because his owners couldn't look after him anymore.

A spokesman said: "He needs a home with older children. He is OK with other dogs but not brilliant and he is quite an active dog."

You can contact the RSPCA on 632944 or Cheshire Dogs Home on 269500.
