Your complaints are a load of rubbish

A MUM says she is fed up with all the moaning about the rubbish left on the streets of Northwich and Winsford.

The woman, who does not wish to be named, was responding to the Guardian's story about the Cross family, of Pulman Drive in Northwich, whose rubbish was not collected after Christmas.

The Cross family had complained that collectors refused to take some rubbish from their household of eight people

But after reading the story the woman, who lives on the Wharton Estate in Winsford, said: "It is not up to the bin men to move all the bags and extra rubbish to get to empty the bins.

"I have four children, my hubby and myself and I manage to recycle and fill one larger bin. If I can manage with my four children then so can everybody else."

She added: "We all know that the council will not take extra bin bags, boxes or any extra rubbish so why do people put them out?

"The people who put all the extra rubbish out are to blame for the state of our streets and if the towns get infested with rats that is their fault too."
