THE Leader of Vale Royal Borough Council led the region's three-minute silence at noon last Wednesday to remember the victims of the Asian tsunami.
Clr Keith Musgrave joined other leading councillors, officers and members of the public at Wyvern House for the event. Clr Musgrave said: "In common with all local authorities across the UK, we will be doing all we can to help communities in Asia where the arduous task of rebuilding lives must begin."
Vale Royal Mayor Clr Anne Hooker said: "Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have been touched by this terrible disaster, who have lost their loved ones or who are waiting to hear from friends or family in the disaster."
