Hospital has stars in its eyes

HALTON Hospital is holding a Stars In Your Eyes fundraiser for the Tsunami victims.

Doctors, nurses and other staff have volunteered to perform at the Pavillions in Weston Point, Runcorn on Friday, February 25, at 7.30pm.

Look-a-likes already secured include Cyndi Lauper, Diana Ross, Gabrielle and Village People.

One of the organisers, Bev Collins of McMillan nurses, said: "This just started as a conversation during a mid-morning break.

"By lunchtime the posters were printed and displayed and by the end of the first day I had bookings for more than 100 tickets from staff alone.

"It will be a great night with lots of laughs which will hopefully raise funds for a very tragic cause."
