Music night raises funds

A COUNTRY and Western night in memory of a Warrington man who died from Parkinson's disease has raised more than £1,000 for Warrington's Parkinson's Society.

After Gordon Watterson, from Hilton Avenue, Great Sankey, died, his friends and wife Sylvia organised the fundraising event. Sylvia said: "We went on many outings with Warrington's Parkinson's Society. They were marvellous and really boosted everyone's spirits."
