Mary's ready to bridge the gap down under

LUCKY Mary Chamberlain is about to jet off down under to Australia after winning a charity's national draw.

Mary, from Haslington, won the first prize of two tickets to Sydney and two tickets to climb the city's Harbour Bridge in Climb's national draw.

The metabolic disease charity made the draw at Crewe Alexandra Football Club at the Alex's recent home game against Plymouth Argyle after selling £4,000 worth of tickets.

Climb's executive director Steve Hannigan said: "We are really pleased to be able to present this prize in person to Mrs Chamberlain.

"We hope she has a really wonderful holiday in Sydney and Climb is most grateful to all the people who bought tickets for our national draw and to those organisations and individuals who enabled us to offer such fantastic prizes."
