Man glassed in face in Victoria Square

A MAN was glassed in the face while he was in the Vue Bar, Victoria Square, Widnes.

The 25-year-old was hit by a man at around 1am on Monday, January 3.

He suffered a cut face and was taken to Whiston Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

No arrests have yet been made.

The police are appealing for witnesses to contact Det Con Simon Fisher on 01244-613733 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
