TAKE PART IN TSUNAMI SILENCE

THE Mayor of Warrington, Clr Ted Lafferty, will lead a three minute silence across the borough in remembrance of the Asian Tsunami victims.

The silence is to take place in front of the Town Hall at 12 noon on Wednesday 5 January.

Everyone across the town is invited to observe this silence wherever they may be.

As part of the national act of remembrance the borough flag will fly at half mast all day.
