University is open for business at library

ANOTHER university is vying for trade in Padgate this month as the Open University comes to town.

Padgate Library is the first in the UK to try lending a collection of Open University videos.

The selection of 30 videos, chosen from the course materials and broadcasts produced by The Open University and the BBC, are all of general interest and are free to borrow.

This collection will move to Warrington Library in April for the second part of the project.

Until now, the videos have only ever been kept at the Open University Library in Milton Keynes.
