Hat-trick hero Holmes

DAVE Holmes netted twice as Pierpoints gained three points in the Warrington Sunday Soccer League Premier Division this week.

Scott Taylor and James Rosa also found the target to give Pierpoints a 4-0 lead against Reform FC.

But Pierpoints took their foot off the pedal and an own goal by Mark Lee and a strike by Lee Clarke left the final score at 4-2.

Brooklands defeated FC Crosfields 5-1 in Division Two.

Their goal scoring heroes were Scott Hamilton, two, Chris Holbrook and Lee Houghton.

Division three team FC Barge moved up the table four places courtesy of their 6-3 win against Spa Brook.

Their goals came via Chris Hughes, three, John Dover, Phil Brake and Peter Fairchild.

Despite two goals from Andrew Cunnelly, Victoria Kings Park lost to Crossbar by 4-2.

In Division Four, Lymm Park recorded a 3-2 win against Knights FC.

They were indebted to goals from Peter Kay and Mike Warren, two.
