Find out how police change affects you

MIDDLEWICH residents are being given the chance to find out about how changes to policing in Cheshire will affect them at the next Joint Dane Valley Area Forum.

Ch Supt Phil Thompson will speak about the changes in the organisation and working methods of Cheshire Police which come into force in April next year.

The area forum, which covers Middlewich, Holmes Chapel, Goostrey, Cranage, Twemlow and Swettenham, will be held on Tuesday, January 11, at 7pm at Goostrey Primary School, Main Road, Goostrey.

Rural and parish issues, as well as questions from members of the public, will also be discussed at the meeting and local councillors will be there - so residents can speak to them directly about their concerns.

For details call Mark Nedderman, principal democratic services officer on 01270 769207.
