Trio get festive for Christmas

TALENTED trio Thomas Kimber, Grace Muirhead and Harper Whitehead are pictured showing off their handiwork.

The children attend St Peter's Nursery School in Congleton, where children from the pre-school and lower nursery created traditional christingles.

They are made from oranges, which are hollowed out to hold a candle and raisins on cocktail sticks, and are decorated in red tape.

The children took their creations across to St Peter's Church for a service for nursery children and their parents led by Canon Michael Walters. Photo by Cara Edgington.
