A very merry West End

TALENTED youngsters from Crewe have been staging a Christmas show to bring festive cheer to the West End this year.

The show was organised by the Wishing Well project following the success of last year's community show.

The afternoon performance, at the Meredith Studios on West Street, included children from local primary schools, the Grosvenor Social Group, Victoria Technology School, dancing troupes, as well as staff and volunteers from Wishing Well.

A spokesman said: "We were delighted by the enthusiasm and dedication the performers have shown in rehearsals.

"Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed the experience, some participating and performing before an audience for the first time.

"High spirits and laughter have been the order of the day with everyone young and old having a good time and combining their hidden talents in a united effort."
