NEW powers to tackle graffiti, fly-tipping and litter have been welcomed by Warrington South MP Helen Southworth.
The Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Bill will give local authorities and other agencies more power to tackle problems associated with anti-social behaviour and the local environment.
Helen said: "Fly posting, abandoned vehicles and other nuisances which blight our communities will also be targeted.
"These are problems caused by a minority of individuals and can ruin the lives of honest, hardworking people.
"The bill is being introduced to make sure that the people who cause the problem are held to account and that we get cleaner, safer neighbourhoods. This is good news for Warrington."
