Heart support

A SUPPORT group for people with rare heart conditions has been launched this week.

Although special defibrillator's can physically help people at risk of sudden death, they and their carers may also need support, says Caroline Starr of the Cheshire and Merseyside Cardiac Network.

She said: "Sometimes the support people need is practical and sometimes it is social and psychological."
