It's only words

NEIGHBOURS - WITH the Christmas break looming on Ramsay Street, the action seems to be hotting up.

As soap queen Alison revealed last week, Lana and Sky enjoyed a bit of a pash (why do Australians insist on making words up?) and now Connor and Lou could be an unlikely couple. Well maybe. Irish boy Connor (wonder how many times he has stepped foot in Ireland?) agreed to meet his online boyfriend at the pub - only to find it was good old Lou, who was completely oblivious. The stage is set for comedy wranglings.

Meanwhile, it seems a night of passion with Harold may be bad for the health because Svetlanka is set to reveal that unless she gets a liver operation, she won't see 2005. And, you learn something new every day. Apparently Cuban is a new word for cool in the land Down Under. I always thought that was something Bill Clinton would be more familiar with.

EASTENDERS

Tremendous news from Walford: Stacey is leaving - I fear it may be temporary but she is to be told her time of moaning and whingeing on the Square is up.

Elsewhere, it's same old, same old really. Little Dennis is snogging Sharon again while Zoe is left alone.
