Desperate Dev's fatal attraction

CORONATION STREET - "YOU pursued me! You told you me you loved me! And then Sunita gets a headache and I'm history!"

Fair point Maya.

It was an explosive week in Weatherfield as the bunny boiler took her revenge on golden couple Dev and Suneeeeta.

And after listening to Suneeeeta wailing like a Banshee for an hour I almost wished Maya would get on with it and finish her off.

You had to wonder why the emergency services let a battered and bruised Dev jump into his car and drive away after being blasted half way across Eccles.

If I was Suneeeeta, I think I'd need a couple of months in the Priory after being targeted by the bunny boiling freak, while you can bet an experience like that will leave Dev the most faithful man in Britain.

Let's face it, he won't want to get close to any other woman for the rest of his life.

Every story has a moral, and what can we learn from this one boys?

Take care with the hearts of females - you never know when you're going to cross a wicked wench.

THE BILL

I CAN go on no longer without introducing the premier police drama to AKTV, and before anybody starts complaining, I'm sure it can be classed as a soap because it's mostly on twice a week every week.

Add to that the array of soap characters that have transformed into police officers - Irene Raymond from EasEnders, Jamie from Hollyoaks (who is looking mighty fine), and the woman who had the lesbian fling in Family Affairs to name but a few - and it's more soap than Imperial Leather.

How could anybody ignore something as bizarre as Mark Fowler morphing into a psycho rapist sniper? Or for me, a world where an undercover reporter's job seemingly requires no reporting whatsoever.

The climax of the missing Abi story is coming up soon, and here's a clue to the outcome - it's not always the criminals who commit the crimes!
