Popular jazz quintet return

A POPULAR jazz four piece make a welcome return to Northwich tomorrow night, Thursday, with a performance in Davenham.

Excess Prophet consist of Jamie Prophet (trumpet and flugel), Matthew Compton (piano), Paul Turner (drums) and Peter Willmott (bass) and are members of the BBC Philharmonic jazz quartet.

The band's last appearance in Northwich saw them play at the Lion Salt Works as part of the BBC's Restoration programme.

Tickets, priced £5 (£4 for concessions), are available from the DAN office in Northwich library or by ringing Nick Hughes on 01606 41597.
