OPENING MINDS

Pupils at The Russett School in Weaverham have been enjoying a few quiet moments in their faith garden representing religions from around the world.

The garden is split into six sections with each area representing one the main religions of Sikhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Buddhism. Judith Biggin, head of religious studies, said: "It is a great resource that can be used by other schools as well as our own. The children love it and helped us to create it.

"It is also a place that members of staff can go to and reflect for a few moments on their own." g044069
