Charity CD to ease heartache

WARRINGTON'S most reputable music venues have given their backing to a remarkable charity CD recorded by Warrington musician Jogga.

The Pyramid Centre and Sankey Street's Dawsons Music are just two of the big local names who will be stocking the four-track acoustic CD, which is being sold in aid of the Leukaemia Research Fund.

Entitled Heartache Is Spoken Here, the recording has already proven popular with customers at The White Hart.

Jogga, who provides vocals

and plays guitar in the popular local band 13Amp told the Warrington Guardian: "I've recorded the CD with the intention of raising £200 for the fund.

'My family are active in fundraising for the charity and this is my way of contributing.

"I'd love to reach my target before Christmas if possible as this is an exceptionally worthy cause."

Copies are priced at £2. If any one would like to purchase a copy direct from Jogga, he can be contacted via email at jogga@13amp.org.uk or by telephone on 07751 675876.
