Not enough care

I AM sick of care organisations in Warrington that claim to be caring for carers.

My mother's day care providers have proved unreliable for respite care. Crossroads has turned down my last three requests for help and all the Carers Centre at Garven Place and Help the Aged in Latchford do is hand out smiles and leaflets.

Now Dial-a-Ride is putting the boot in by saying it cannot get my mother, a wheelchair user, and myself to town on Thursday mornings because of what they call 'block booking'.

Perhaps all those people would be happy if carers stayed at home all day every day.
