Dangerous chemical stolen

MERSEYSIDE police are urging people to exercise extreme caution after a highly dangerous liquid chemical was stolen from a car at around 1.30pm on December 2, in St Helens.

The substance, known as Metysan, can cause skin irritation and breathing difficulties and could be lethal if inhaled.

It is contained in 12 one litre white, frosted bottles. The substance appears orange in colour through the bottle.

Anyone who sees these are asked to immediately phone St Helens Police on 0151-777 6961.
