Loosen up this Christmas

FOR truly out there music, get down to The Brindley Arts centre on Friday, December 10.

Loose Music collective is presenting a Christmas special show, with music for the body and mind, writes Jaki Florek.

Local heroes, the fabulous Zen Baseball Bat are headlining with their gritty northern art-ska songs from their first and second albums for Moonska Europe.

Also on this exciting bill are a.P.A.t.T - absolutely fascinating, very theatrical, musically stunning. Now based in Liverpool, some people may recall their early beginnings as All Day Glow when they played the Queens Hall Studio and the Halton Show.

Stig are on hand to supply some Class A Audio beats mixed with guitars, decks, Theremin, and the thrilling trumpet of starman Ged Fox.

There's an all too rare appearance of Mouthbreaker, plus rock n rap from A Lost Cause, and Peroxide Blue with Jenny Tripp, Juan Padilla, and Tom McGauley.

Guest DJs will be spinning some tunes from 7pm. It's a 16+ gig, admission £4/£3 concessions, and the bar will be open.

The Brindley can be contacted on 0151-907 8360 and you can call Loose Music between 11am and 6pm on 01928-566261.
