Foster carers honoured

MORE than 70 foster carers have been honoured at an awards evening that paid tribute to their dedication and hard work in improving the lives of Halton Borough Council's looked after children.

All Halton's foster carers were invited to the Foster Carers' long service awards at Halton Stadium on November 25.

The evening was opened by Halton Council's executive board member for health and social care, Cllr Tom McInerney.
