Pudsey fund boost from pyjama party

PYJAMA-CLAD shop staff are pictured braving the icy weather in Congleton to support Pudsey Bear.

The women work at Kel's bakery and sandwich shop in Lawton Street.

They donned their pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers to enter into the spirit of Children in Need day and raise funds for the charity.

Customers were invited to drop change into a collection bucket on the counter, and a prize card offering a free lunch to the winner raised £25.

Paul Jolley and his wife May are the new owner's of the shop, having bought the business and property from Kelvin Hilditch.

Pictured with Mrs Jolley, back right, are Kimberley Higginson, Andrea Sandbach and Dawn Foster with seated from left baker Stuart Clegg, Paul Jolley and shop manager David Mason.
