CATs take a stroll

CATS went for a walk through Halton Brook on Friday and Saturday, asking people how to improve the area.

Confused? Well, it wasn't the result of the latest break through in genetics.

The CATs are members of the police community action team, the special team dedicated to solving the problems caused by everyday crime.

They went walking through the estate along with housing association staff and other volunteers to pick out areas of graffiti, litter and criminal damage.

When these problems areas are spotted, the police and the other groups will work together to improve things.
