Baby Unit to auction Man Utd goalie shirt

WARRINGTON Hospital Special Care Baby Unit is hoping to boost funding with the help of Manchester United's goalkeeper.

Roy Carroll has donated a signed Manchester United goalkeeper's shirt to be auctioned off in December.

Money raised from the signed shirt auction will go towards improvements to the parent's room and

breastfeeding facilities in the unit at Warrington Hospital.

Organiser Debbie Yates said: "We are very grateful to Roy for donating the signed shirt. Hopefully there are lots of Manchester United supporters out there who will bid for it and help us to raise lots of money for the unit."

In addition to the shirt

auction, there will also be the annual balloon race on January 7.

The balloon that travels the furthest will win £100.

If you are interested in bidding for Roy's shirt or entering the balloon race call Debbie or Jo on 662278
