Cyclist hurt in hit-and-run

POLICE are hunting a motorist who failed to stop after an accident with a cyclist, who suffered serious head injuries, at 7.45am on Monday on Sankey Way, between Cromwell Avenue and Sankey Green Island. The cyclist is in the town's hospital. Anyone with information should contact Warrington police on 01244 613831.
