THE Butterfly Project is holding a series of drop-in sessions for bereaved children.
The next one will be held on Wednesday, December 1, from 1pm until 3pm at Thomas Risley Church, Glover Road, Locking Stumps.
The sessions are open to anyone, including professionals, parents or carers, who would like advice about supporting a bereaved child.
The Child Bereavement Service offers the following:
l Individual work with children who have been bereaved
l Training for professionals which can be tailored to meet the specific needs of groups concerned
l Resources and consultation to enable professionals to work effectively with children who have been bereaved
l Drop-in sessions for parents and carers offering advice, information, support and resources.
