A holistic approach

The Rev Stephen Kingsnorth is the borough minister who runs the project. He comments: "In the past, voluntary organisations in Warrington have, in some cases, struggled to find a representative from the faith community to have an input into their activities. The aim of the Warrington Borough Ministry is to ensure that all of these groups have access to support and information on faith matters, when they need it."

The Warrington Borough Ministry has been authorised by the National Methodist Church and funded by the local Methodist Church, and is supported by the various different faiths in the community.

Stephen Kingsnorth continues: "The ministry works very closely with the charitable groups in the community, so the Gateway is an ideal location, which puts us right in the heart of the community and the voluntary sector."
