Hymns raise funds

CHILDREN at an Orford primary school proved they are in good voice when they sang 20 hymns in one hour to raise cash for school funds.

The pupils from key stage one and two of St Andrew's Primary School joined staff to give a rousing rendition of their favourite hymns in a sponsored hymn-athon.

Cash is still coming in from the event and the total is expected to reach the £500 mark, paying for a selection of new books for the children.
