It's Jez the ticket

BIDDULPH Folk Club favourite Jez Lowe returns on Thursday, November 18, with a show at the Biddulph Arms.

Jez, pictured above, has spent the last 25 years taking his songs of his native north east to audiences around the world.

His songs have been recorded by Fairport Convention, The Dubliners, The Tannahill Weavers and others, and are sung in clubs, festivals and concert halls.

Jez has 13 studio albums to his credit, and has been a regular guest at Biddulph Folk Club for more than a decade.

"He is a top class performer, his music and songs have instant appeal, and it's always a pleasure to have him back," said folk club organiser Eric Cox.

The show starts at 8pm, and to reserve tickets ring Mr Cox on 01782 514896
