All change due to work

LOADING and unloading on Legh Street has been temporarily banned because of work on the Golden Square shopping centre.

The restrictions will affect the west side of the road when relevant signs are displayed. The footpath on the east side, from opposite its junction with Kendrick Street, will be closed.

Meanwhile, two footpaths are closed during the work.

A footpath on Midland Way (south side) from its junction with Legh Street is closed. Another one from the same junction running towards Golborne Street also closed on Saturday, November 6.
