FIREWORK FUN

It was bangers and mash with a difference at Greenfields Primary School in Winsford last week, as pupils enjoyed the bonfire celebrations.

Pupils were treated to a special lunch of traditional bonfire night food including bangers and mash and a dessert of treacle toffee.

But there was a serious message amid all the fun with the children given talks on the importance of firework safety.

Representatives from Cheshire Police visited the school to show pupils how they can stay safe on Bonfire Night and still have a great time.
