CULTURAL EXCHANGE

STUDENTS from Verdin High School sixth form college are pictured discussing the things they learned during a trip to Italy.

The students have just returned from Salerno where they sampled some continental culture.

Pupils who came over from Italy earlier this year were looked after by the Winsford students.

The favour was returned and the students had a great time experiencing the art and sport of another country.

Jackie Hammond, teacher at the college, said: "They all really enjoyed themselves but it was also a great educational experience for them.

"They have come back with all sorts of souvenirs and I'm sure it was something they will never forget."
