MOULE'S BACK ON THE BOUNCE

AUSSIE flyer Aaron Moule has touched down in Widnes and can't wait to start training with the new-look Vikings squad next week.

After successfully beating off Manly Sea Eagles for his signature in September, speculation about the centre's future was recently re-ignited in the international press.

But yesterday the 27-year-old's arrival in the UK confirmed that fans would see him fulfil his promise in Super League X.

"Aaron arrived yesterday and was absolutely bouncing," said the club's media manager, Andrew Kirchin. "He can't wait to get back into training and link up with his new team-mates.

"He is definitely a Widnes player, his name was just incorrectly used in the international press after we signed Owen Craigie and suddenly everyone picked up on it."

The injury-hit Queenslander, will team up with fellow Aussie Craigie, once the big stand off is granted a work permit.

One player increasingly unlikely to be arriving at the club is Kiwi scrum half Thomas Leuluai who injured his shoulder against Great Britain at the weekend.

The club haven't said the deal is dead in the water but the 19-year-old's move to Parramatta from New Zealand Warriors looks ever certain.

The club are still on the look out for a scrum-half but have ruled out a return for Willie Peters or a big money move for Bradford's Robbie Paul to add to the current 24-man squad.

Scholarship players, Matthew Strong, Mike Morrison and Darren Banks have been handed professional contracts and academy players Martin Ainscough, Paul Alcock and Danny Burn have signed new deals.

Meanwhile the club have announced season ticket sales are up by 36 per cent on this time last year, and the 2005 kit, complete with extra sponsor Multisorb, should be available in time for Christmas. A social evening, where fans can meet the players and coaching staff, is planned for December 7 as is a fans' forum for January 17. More details nearer the time.
