HEARTFELT GIFTS

Pupils at Wimboldsley Primary School in Middlewich filled more than 50 shoeboxes with gifts, photographs and letters to send to underprivileged children across Europe.

As part of Operation Christmas Child, they donated some of their own toys, hats and scarves and gifts to be delivered to children in hospitals, orphanages, refugee camps and homeless shelters across central and eastern Europe.

The boxes will be collected today, Wednesday, to be shipped to their destination in time for Christmas. c44663
