Conmen steal more than £1,000 from pensioner

AN 87-YEAR-OLD woman who lives alone was targeted by burglars posing as water board officials who stole £1,100 cash from her Winsford home.

Police are warning people with elderly relatives to be vigilant after the incident at a bungalow in Ford Court at 5pm last Thursday.
