Project bids to help bereaved children

THE Butterfly Project is holding a series of drop in sessions for bereaved children. The next one will be held this Thursday, November 4, from 5.30pm until 7.30pm at The Gateway on the corner of Sankey Street and Winmarleigh Street.

The sessions are open to anyone including professionals, parents or carers who would like advice about supporting a bereaved child.

The child bereavement service offers work with children who have been bereaved, training for professionals which can be tailored to meet the specific needs and drop in sessions for parents and carers offering advice, information, support and resources.
