Disabled man rescued from hoist
A DISABLED man had to be rescued by firefighters after he became stuck in a lift hoist.
The incident happened at a residential care home in Birkdale Road, Widnes, shortly after 2pm, last Thursday.
Firefighters say there appeared to be a fault in the hoist.
