Man 22, hurt in car accident

A MAN was hurt in a car accident on the M57 southbound on Monday morning during rush hour.

Paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 8.30am and took a 22-year-old man to Whiston hospital.

The accident happened between junction one and two of the motorway in the direction of the bridge.
